A Kenyan journalist has denied publishing false information touching on Collins Jomaisu Khalisia whom the DCI officer claimed is a serial killer.
The accused Francis Ng’ang’a Gaithu was produced before a senior magistrate Robbinson Ondieki whe he denied criminal charges levelled against him by the DCI.
The prosecution told the court that the accused published the said inform on X account (formerly Twitter) on 15th July 2024.
The accused was represented by Dr John Khaminwa and Duddley Ochiel.
The court ordered the accused be released on a cash bail of ksh 30000 and directed the matter be mentioned on 1st August 2024 for pre-trial conference.
Fake State House Spokes Person
In the same court an upcoming politician was also indicted for publishing false information implicating State House spokes person Hussein Muhammed for publishing by saying his ethics we can not sustain the propaganda by the government.

The accused Alinur Muhammed Bulle was also paraded in the same court where the prosecution informed the trial magistrate that the said information was published on 15th July 2024.
The court directed the accused to deposit a cash bail of ksh 30000 to secure his release pending trial which will begin on 14th August 2024.
