Kenyan musician Jovila has opened up to how she left Otile Brown’s record label ‘Just in Love’.
The female musician said that the main reason she left the record label was that the two did not agree on the contract.
She also revealed that they had to involve a lawyer in order for her to leave the record label.
She also spoke about her relationship with Otile claiming that the two have come a long way for them to part ways.
“Otile tumejuana kitambo sana, he bumped into my song and texted me then we met in Mombasa when he came for a show.
Jovial quit the ‘Just in Love’ record label two years ago and has been still releasing songs with the president of the label Otile Brown.
The musician also said that she never took the car she was gifted by Otile Brown because she never knew how to drive.
“Mimi focus yangu ilikuwa kwa kubuild brand and kucreat content so focus ya gari haikukuwa na hata sikukuwa najua kuiendesha gari. I did not even take the car as much as aliintrroduce bado gari ilikuwa kwa compound yake,”Jovial said.
Jovial and Otile Brown have been releasing hit songs although the two are on a different record label with their hit song being ‘Jerah’.
