Jua Cali stirs hot debate with his ganja post

Genge icon Jua Cali has aroused a hot debate on social media after posting a meme that suggested that weed could be a remedy for treating coronavirus.

The “Mwoto” sana singer posted the meme that stated that Jamaica had entered the race in the search for Covid-19 vaccine with its ‘Rastazeneca’.

“Jamaica enters the vaccine race with their RASTA ZENICA. It’s not as effective as the others but after the second dose, you don’t care anymore…,” read the meme that had four images of weed.

The meme saw his followers elicit mixed reactions with a section praising it while others castigated it.

“Jamdown sija skia mtu amekufa na corona shada ni doze tosha.. ??” wrote Misheny Lion Look.

 “I believe this is the one that’s suits me best.”Wrote Carol Munyinyi.

” I take it daily. Three times a day. “Holy herb,” wrote Collins CM.

 “This one should come ASAP,” Wrote Purity Gatwiri.

Despite the overflowing feedback concerning those who embraced marijuana, there was a section that showed its displeasure.

“Wasanii wakenya mmekosa content kabisa.. ndio maana kazuchu ka juzi anawashinda,” wrote George Kelvin Simba.

“Ndio maana Leo nimesikia top 3 of the most consumed songs zote ni ya wabongo,” wrote Geff Limo Maraba.

“Juacali #u need to be arrested.it seems u possess this and that’s why yu took a photo,” wrote Jared Nyangena.
