Justice Ibrahim Disqualifies Himself From Tunoi, Rawal Case
Supreme court judge Justice Ibrahim Mohammed has disqulified himself from hearing the case by the deputy chief justice Kalpana Rawal and judge Philip Tunoi challenging their retirement age.
Ibrahim says the matter has conflict of interest and taking part in his proceedings, will tint his image and the judiciary which is against the oath he took.
He has however, called for the increase of the supreme court judges between 9 to 11 to address the quorum hitch at the court.
Justice Jacktone Ojawang has however, agreed with the appeal.
