Juventus boss bans Paul Pogba transfer talk
MIRROR:Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has banned any talk of Paul Pogba ’s prospective £100million move to Manchester United .
Jose Mourinho is expected to shatter the world record transfer fee to sign the France midfielder.
It is understood United have agreed personal terms worth £250,000-a-week to re-sign the player they let leave for just £800,000 four years ago.
But an agreement between the Premier League giants and the Italian champions has not officially been struck – and Allegri is refusing to discuss to matter any further.
“I am not going to talk about the transfer market news we are just here to get ready,” he said, speaking during the club’s tour of Australia where they will face Tottenham on Tuesday.
The club is going to talk about the transfer market and they are doing very well so I am happy in that regard.”
Pogba, meanwhile, is currently on holiday in Miami after reaching the Euro 2016 final with France.
The 23-year-old was pictured alongside NBA star Clint Capela, who presented Pogba with a jersey after playing basketball together. He also met NFL player Chad Johnson.
Manchester United will head back to Manchester on Monday following their brief trip to China.
Transfer chief Ed Woodward will then hope to conclude the record deal for Pogba as Mourinho looks to finalise his squad in time for the new season.
