Kangemi Residents Threaten To Disrupt Census Exercise

A section of Nairobi’s Kangemi residents have threatened to scuttle the Census exercise set to kick off next week.

The residents claim that the officers picked to conduct the exercise in the region are not area residents but strangers.

They have also threatened to disrupt the ongoing training of enumerators and supervisors until their grievances are heard.

Meanwhile, Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi has vowed to inspect the register to establish if the grievances are genuine.
