An outspoken city tout expressed his frustrations with the utterance and hard stance by politicians within President William Ruto’s circle.

Daniel Thuranira, who plies CBD-Kawangware route says President William Ruto must act fast and reach out to the opposition leaders before further economic meltdown.

He says the series of the protests in the country attests that the president has done very little to fulfil his pre-election pledges during campaigns.

“Alikuwa na manifestos nzuri, aliambia watu eti akichaguliwa ata rudishe chini gharama ya maisha, lakini kwa sasa bei ya bidhaa kama unga zimepanda.” Said Thuranira

He attributes the economic standoffs in the country to the hardlines taken by the politicians aligned to the Kenya Kwanza administration and the opposition.

“The country can not go forward if the politicians are chest-thumping for winning elections and forgetting what they swore to do.” He added.

The driver also termed the utterance by the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua as unprecedented and that he should take a back stage to allow the president to work on what he promised Kenyans.

Contested Server

To satisfy the opposition’s demand, President Ruto should allow the IEBC to open the server to clear the doubts of Raila led camps, adding that the Ruto must be ready to handover the government to opposition Raila if the votes in the server aligns to Raila’s allegations.

“Kama alishinda afungue server wakenya waone kama alishida ukweli na kama hakushinda amwachie mwenye alishinda nchi isonge mbele.” Thuranira stated.

During his interview with Ghetto Radio, the was jeers and cheers from his colleagues who nodded in support of Thuranira.
