Police officer attached at Kayole police station has shot himself to death in a suicidal kind of event that has left many mouth agape.

The officer had called his station Commander informing her that he was just about to commit the act.

He was then rushed to  modern Komarock Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

“A senior officer namely Ezra ouma sob kayole had called his station commander and threatened to shoot himself. she then rushed to his house and on arrival she was informed by neighbours that the officer had shoot himself and had been rushed to modern komarock hospital. she proceeded to the hospital where she established that the officer had shot himself on the chin and had passed on before he was attended to. the scene was visited by scpc ruai and scpc kayole together with other senior officers.’’ The report said.

According to police report the police shot a male adult first before shooting himself in chin.

” it was furhter established that the deceased officer  had shot one male luhya adult namely philip muhavi ayieka aged 35yrs on the left foot and a bereta pistol with 12 rounds of ammos and one empty catridge recovered. no suicide note found, motive not known. scene documented by csss kayole. body taken to ku mortuary pending postmortem. dci athi river east dealing.’’

The body of Ezra Ouma is currently laid at KU Mortuary as Police continue with investigations.
