KCB and Homeboyz maintain perfect start

KCB Rugby FC perfect start to the Kenyan League Cup Continued with a win over Top Fry Nakuru RFC at the Ruaraka Sports Club, Nairobi.

The bankers had their third successive victory frying the visitors 45-13 to cement their position at the top of the League.

We had a better game today than last week. We were able to improve our game, playing well in both halves, KCB Rugby Captain Curtis Lilako said.

At the break, the bankers were up 26-8, making four tries and converting three.

The visitors had one try and a penalty.

The onslaught continued in the second half with the bankers depositing three tries, converting two in the process to round up the evening.

In another natch Homeboyz, who were at Jamhuri Park, saw off Menengai Oilers 25-20 in what was a hotly contested match day 3 clash. Geoffrey Okwach scored a hattrick in the win over Nakuru.
