Nairobi County Assembly has cleared former Kware ward MCA Ken Ngo’ndi to vie for speaker position.

Ng’ondi presented his nomination papers to Nairobi Clerk Mr. Edward Gichana who is also the returning officer.

“This afternoon we came to present ourselves before the returning officer who is the clerk, I have just returned my nomination papers to vie for the speaker position and I have been cleared… They have gone through our papers in line with check list and they have affirmed to us we are good to go and we don’t have any worries I have done my part in mobilizing members to vote for me and all we are waiting for is the voting day and we leave the rest to honourable members,” Ng’ondi said.
