Kenyan Artistes At War With Their Managers

In the recent past Kenyan music lovers have been treated to some bizarre drama from artistes and their managers.

From Weezdom and Bahati to Otile Brown and Dr. Eddie the list continues to grow each day.

Weezdom, fast rising gospel artist, had his songs pulled down from Youtube by his managing label EMB Records spearheaded by gospel sensation Bahati.

It is alleged that the management was not happy with Weezdom hanging out with Willy Paul, who is Bahati’s rival in the gospel music scene. Weezdom also featured in Willy Paul’s latest video featuring Alaine and most fans felt he was betraying his boss.

Artist Otile Brown

Before the dust could settle on this one, another one is in the offing. “Niseme Nawe” singer Otile Brown after being in loggerheads with his manager, Dr. Eddie he officially announced through his social media platforms that they have parted and he has new contacts.

Otile Brown’s videos that had been on his label’s Youtube channel have been pulled down.

It’s not known as to why the two aren’t going on well but in an interview in a national TV station Otile is quoted to have agreed that indeed there was some misunderstanding going on.
