Kenyan music group Gravity Band has made it their mission to take Kenyan reggae music to the world platform.
The band in partnership with Ghetto Radio is currently on a Tour within Nairobi dubbed ‘Gravity Kaboom Tour’
The tour shick kicked off on Sunday 1st December will go on till 20th and will cover 20 different locations.
So far the band has visited Huruma area, Utawala and Umoja area and will be visiting Kawangware area later in the day.
Set in a live band setting, the band will treat the audience to authentic Kenyan reggae music and even give local artistes a chance to share the stage with them.
Fans will also have a moment to interact with Ghetto Radio presenters throughout the tour.
Gravity Kaboom Tour aims to promote Kenyan reggae and shun abuse by promoters who shy away from working with local artites.
The climax of the tour will also be a mega concert in Nairobi’s CBD on the 21st of December when the band will be launching their album at the Archives.
A head of the mega concert, the band will also visit Njiiru, Kayole, Jericho, California, Dandora, Babadogo, Embakasi, Mathare, Ziwani, Kangemi, Buruburu, Kibra, Zimmerman, Mbotela, Muruku kwa Njenga and Mwiki.
