The Russian vaccine is estimated to cost Ksh. 10,000 per person.

It is also expected to be taken in two doses, 21 days apart for effective results.

Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has also expressed interest in getting the vaccine.

The decision by these elite Kenyans’ rush to have the Russian vaccine has elicited sharp reactions form Kenyans who are now expressing doubt on the Astrazeneca vaccine that was purchased by the government.

This is despite President Uhuru Kenyatta and First lady Margaret Kenyatta publicly took the vaccine last week.
