The country on Friday commemorated KDF’s day,a day set aside to appreciate the tremendous efforts and sacrifices that the kenyan defense forces have given to keeping kenyans safe.
Kenyans commemorated the day by highlighting the highs which include fighting the militant group Al shabaab with success and some of the major blows too in which the country lost a number of its soldiers.
Kenyans on twitter through the #KDFDAY honoured the falllen soldiers and extended gratitude to their family members.
The celebration is held in mombasa.
