Gospel singer Daddy Owen has been trending for the past few days following rumors that his wife Faridah Wambui left him.
According to a local publication, the singer’s wife recently got engaged to a businessman based in Gilgil.
The publication claimed that Owen only learned about the engagement from a relative who works at the hotel where the engagement happened.
The news site also quoted a source who claimed that the singer is currently depressed.
“As we speak, Daddy Owen fears for his life, he is in hiding. He changes cars and doesn’t sleep at the same place often. For three years now, daddy owen has been depressed and it all came to a hilt when he was called by a family member who works in a posh hotel in Naivasha. The relative told him, he has just seen his wife get engaged to a rich tycoon and he was wondering what’s up?” the source allegedly said
Following the rumors, the singer shared a video on social media praying for anyone going through emotional pain.
Kenyans are however convinced Daddy Owen is just pulling a stunt to promote an upcoming project.
