Kenyans have crafted hilarious memes of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto following their tensed meeting at the Manyani Airstrip ahead of the Cabinet Meeting.
The memes that have gone viral on social media, have been crafted just immediately after people started raising eyebrows over breach of protocol when Interior CS Fred Matiang’i received the President as Ruto watched.
Ruto’s tensed relationship with Matiang’i and Uhuru is something that has been in the open for quite some time with DP’s allies throwing shade and banters at the fiery and outspoken CS.

Elegiyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen was the first to throw the banter referring to Matiang’i as the DP.
“The Deputy President Fred Matiangi receiving the President thereafter introduce other Cabinet members. Those of us who didn’t witness the last days of Mzee Jomo Kenyatta ‘will see things’ in the next 22 months,” wrote Murkomen on Twitter.
Thereafter memes of the two started flying thick and fast with netizens allied to DP Ruto washing out Matiang’i’s face.
Those anti- Tangatanga also retaliated by replacing Ruto’s image with a wheelbarrow.
