Kenyans React To E-Sir’s Tribute Song


Kenyan artists have united to pay tribute to the music legend E-Sir  through a song dubbed Bandana ya E-Sir.

The song which premiered on YouTube on Wednesday featured Nameless, King Kaka, Trio Mio, Nelly the Goon among others.

Bandana ya Esir is a Kenyan urban pop cross generation collaboration which has armed to celebrate E-Sir who inspired many artists. The rap legend E-Sir passed away 19 years ago.

The reaction on YouTube is massive with the hit song gathering 13k views in just 3hours ago.

The new hit is meant to pay tribute to the late teen singer E-sir, who would be turning 40 years this year. 

Rapper King Kaka played a big roles in the song as he designed the Bandana that has Esir’s portrait.

“This project we are about to release is very close to my heart .We celebrate our brother ESIR with a CROSS-GENERATION of artists! Some Veterans made a cameo to show LOVE for our fallen friend,” Nameless said on the release of the song. 

His songs are Moss Moss , leo ni leo, kamata among others.

He also did a colabo song with Nameless namely Boomba Train, Hamnitishi and many others.

The teenage died in 2003 after being involved in a tragic road accident.

The artist hopes that the family will benefit from the good will that the brand E-sir and his music still receives.
