Kenyans Thrilled After Tems Announces Visit To Kenya

Kenyans could not contain their excitement on social media after Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi famously known as Tems shared that the country might be her next stop.

The songtress shared the news on her Twitter page by specifying that her visit will be at the country’s capital.

“Nairobi, Kenya I’ll be coming very soon,” reads her post accompanied with the red heart emoji and the Kenyan flag.

Fans showcased their love for the ‘Damages’ hitmaker with some noting that they would not consider a day enough for the performance adding that more days should be set aside for performances from the Afrobeats star.

 “Tems anafaa kuperform three days twende in shifts,”wrote Sandra Psoboi.

A portion of her fans also shared how they are ready to compromise and go out of their way not to miss the show by the first African female to win the Best International Act at the 2022 BET Awards.

“Tems is coming to Kenya, y’all don’t know how excited I am. Hapa heri tukosane na wazazi,” wrote Theba.

The singer is featured in Black Panther 2 ‘s sound track where she performed a rendition of Bob Marley’s ‘No Woman No Cry’and was also featured in former US President Barack Obama’s summer playlist.
