The Kenyatta University has been closed indefinitely.
KU students on Thursday burnt down property in the institution accusing the university’s leadership of poor management.
The students claim that the university did not follow the right procedure when conducting the elections.
Earlier in the day the students issued a list of irreducible minimums that they wanted the university’s management to address failure to which they burn down the school.
Among the issues in the irreducible minimums the students wanted addressed included, overhaul of the varsity’s top management including Vice Chancellor, all registrar’s, Dean of students.
They also wanted a review of university policies and students disciplinary procedures.
