Kevin Oliech to be buried tomorrow, Sonko to take care of all funeral expenses

The body of Kenyan International Kevin Oliech is set to be laid to rest on Saturday in Seme, Kisumu County.
Oliech’s body arrived from Germany on Thursday evening where he had succumbed to cancer while undergoing treatment.
Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko is among the mourners who received the body at JKIA .
Oliech’s body was then taken to Umash Funeral Home where on close friends and family members were allowed to access.
During the visit, Sonko also gave the family a donation of Ksh. 400,000. Sonko also pledged to take care of all the burial expenses of Kevin Oliech.
“We are all headed there, our day will come… I am humbly advising you to stay strong, we are together and let’s not lose hope because we have lost our loved ones,” said Sonko.
“I have come with my friends to mourn with you, we thank God we have managed to take the body to Umash and we will try all we can to make sure that he is laid to rest safely in Seme,” he stated.
