Rapper Khaligraph Jones has released a new free style rap dubbed ‘Usiache Akemewe’ asking President-elect William Ruto to protect Raila.
In the two-minute-long rap, Khaligraph Jones is urging Ruto not to let the ongoing insults on Raila to go on considering he is also a politician.
“Niaje mzae first of all congratulations as you assume your role I hope you get this information. There’s an issue only you can address, reconciliation that’s what we need to start a fresh,” raps Khaligraph in one of his verses.
“Saa hii wanatusi Raila na kuna vile inanistress. Mr. Hustler, yes a man of integrity, bring the people together cz saa hii chuki si necessity. Baba is being attacked some people are calling him names Ombi letu kama wananchi ni eti uweke baba fiti coz I know you understand what that man is going through,” he raps.
The award-winning rapper has also called on the new president to try and reconcile the country that is currently sharply divided.
He says that the country is still shaky from the election period and Ruto should bring people together.
“We are just from an election so country bado ni shaky a lot of sadness inmeukwa mitaa lately. You are a man of God you know how to do it best.”
He reminds the nation of the contributions of former prime minister in the building of the nation urging Kenyans to hold back from name calling Odinga.
The freestyle has received positive reaction from online users who have praised its timing.
