Khaligraph Jones has come under heavy criticism for loosing out to Diamond at the just concluded Trace Awards ceremony in Rwanda in the ‘Best East African’ artist category.
Media personality and influencer, Mwijaku was in the forefront throwing barbs at Khaligraph.
According to the outspoken Mwijaku, Khaligraph had finally learnt his lesson after being trounced by the Wasafi supremo.
Mwijaku further demanded respect from Khaligraph affirming that the latter’s high handedness had finally hit a dead end.
“Mdogo wangu Khaligraph swala la mziki nadhani kupitia Trace music awards limekupa funzo. Tanzania tumepiga hatua, Best East Africa Artist goes to Mwambino ukiweka ujinga wake but unatakiwa utuhesimu juu ya hilooo. Pumbavu wewe” captioned Mwijaku with a photo of Khaligraph.
Mwijaku’s post has since elicited mixed reactions with many sharing their opinions.
We sampled a few below.
“Jitu la mtumba utakuja kupigwa”
“Wewe chunga hiyo mdomo yako utuachie OG”
“Tuchokonoe kabisaa utatupata”
“Sasa East Africa Hip Hop kachukua nani maana yeye alitakiwa akae hapa”
Khaligraph was competing against Diamond, Nadia Mukami, Zuchu, Rwanda’s Bruce Melodie and Uganda’s Azawi.
Kenyans Walk Home Empty Handed
During the Trace music awards, Kenyans walked out empty handed not winning even a single award.
Gospel star Janet Otieno had been nominated in the ‘Best East African’ gospel category, However, she was unlucky.
Khaligraph’s taunting was as a result of his recent cross fire of the Tanzanian Hip Hop industry over luck luster.
The burly award winning rapper also hit out at Diamond for copying his stage gimmick by arriving in a coffin.
Diamond had pulled the same stunt pulled by Khaligraph barely six years ago.
