Kibra MP Benard Okoth Launches Ksh. 10.5 Million Police Station

Kibra Member of Parliament Benard Okoth-Imran on Wednesday opened a Kibra Police station in Makina area aimed at serving Kibra residents.

Speaking during the official opening of the police station, Imran noted that, the Ksh.10.5million facility will bring services closer to Mwananchi.

Before the launch of the facility, Kibra residents were being served by the Kilimani Police Station.

The new Police Station will host officers of higher ranks manning it including the OCPD and OCS together with their deputies.

The facility has an interrogation office, Gender Office, male and female cells and juvenile cells too

Also present at the ceremony included, Millicent Nguri, the Deputy SC Police Commander, Kibera Police Station OCS Tom Otego among other senior police officers from Nairobi County.

Residents were urged to work with the police officers and not view them as enemies.
