Kidero Declares Interest For Presidential Seat
Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has declared that he will be running for the office of President in 2022; in the same election Deputy President William Ruto says he’ll be on the Presidential ballot.
Making his intent public, the Governor said Kenyans should elect leaders who can change their lives, such as himself, and not just those who have no convincing manifestos.
Speaking at a women’s empowerment event yesterday evening He also expressed confidence of retaining his gubernatorial seat come next year’s General Election making the case that it would pave way for him to contest for the country’s top post.
Former Devolution Anne Waiguru has also expressed interest in the seat as have former Starehe MP Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru and former Kilome MP Harun Mwau.
