Former Radio Presenter Shaffie Weru has blasted Lang’ata MP Phelix Odiwuor popularly known as Jalang’os demand that all event organizers must give 50 percent of their jobs to Lang’ata youth.
Shaffie who is now the head of events office of the governor has described Jalang’os comments as misleading and unconstructive.
“Kila kitu iwezi kuwa kipindi kwa hii country, we must give constructive solutions to the jobless youth in this country,” said Shaffie.
Speaking during an interview with Brekko show host Majimaji, Shaffie says that it is against the constitution to bar anyone to work in any part of the country based on their voting areas.
“Blunder! You cannot block a Kenyan from crisscrossing in any corner of this country. You have to follow the constitution which governs the land.
“Parliament iko Starehe, wakiamua kusema kila mtu anafanya job akuwe anatoka starehe, kutaendaje. Sasa pia Pilots wote wafutwe ndiyo waandike wasee wa starehe,” said Shaffie.
