King Kaka Shares On His Hospital’s Misdiagnosis That Ate Up His Health


Hip hop rapper and Kaka Empire studio’s boss Kennedy Ombima commonly known as King Kaka has brought to the fore what most patients pass through in the hands of doctors when seeking health care.

Taking to his social media platforms – Facebook and Instagram, the Wajinga Nyinyi rapper revealed being sick for over three months thanks to a misdiagnosis at the hands of health workers which led to him loosing 33kgs with his waist dropping from 36 to 33 creating a huge wardrobe malfunction.

“Dear Fans, it’s only right that i share this with you. I have been sick for 3 months and 8 days now. I was misdiagnosed. Lost 33kgs and in the process we started hospital visits did all the tests and they were negative funny thing is I feel no pain and we are still hopeful that we will get the solution soon,My waist was 36 now it’s 33 ata sina nguo,”wrote King Kaka.

Changed Diet, Respect To Friend’s And Drawing Closer To God.

It’s said that a strong man is known with how he navigates difficult situations and finds balance.King Kaka disclosed surviving on porridge and fruits, he went ahead and thanked his circle of friend’s for always checking on him and his renewed faith with his maker. “Was consuming only uji and kidogo fruits, started eating food 3 weeks ago pole pole ntazoea and no taste for 2 months. I have a new respect for God and life, the closest friends that knew Asante for always checking up” He explained.

Coining A Name For His EP(Extended Play) Album.

During the trying moment, his doctor advised him to do what makes him happy and he’s grateful he came to pick the name ‘Happy Hour’ for his EP as a way of finding purpose while in turmoil.

“The doctor said instead of just sitting around I try to do what makes me happy. Thankfully I had recorded my EP and didn’t have a name for it but now I have every reason to call it Happy, ‘Happy Hour’.he stated.

Final Healing Moments.

As at now he’s at the tail end of his recovery and would love to share some stories with his fans. He misses his kids but is thankful to his wife and mother for offering a great support system.He appealed to his fans to continue praying for him while believing the dark period will finally end.

“While I am in my final recovery stages I will show you some of the stories and how I got. I miss my kids, my wife @nanaowiti has been a great pillar through the 3 months and my mom. What I need from you is just prayers nothing more. I was born a winner, I just hope that I am alive for it 🙏” he further added while making it clear that he wasn’t in a position to receive phone-calls.
