King Kaka was blown away by underground rappers led by Original Stinger who battled out in the second episode round of 8 off his newly-created platform, Gorilla Academy.

According to King Kaka, the country is in safe hands as far as music is concerned.

Original Stinger received the highest number of votes from the three panel judge which included King Kaka(19.5), Producer and Singer Vinc On The Beat(20) and podcaster Mariah Mariah(20).

Stinger appeared calm and collected revealing that he had left home in a hurry for his moment of glory

Not even the open shoes he had worn that belonged to a member of his family could dampen his spirits.

In fact, this fueled his thirst and it was evident from the moment he began to spit.

With a well-thought rhyme scheme, he also had an out of this world wordplay and punchlines.

According to Stinger, his only way to riches was through music and there was no turning back.

“All my life nimekuwa na dreams bigi kumake ma hits kama Tupac na Biggy maybe nijenge jina ndio ni work nama biggie guess what sahizi mabigi ndio wanadai kuwork na mimi, siko familiar nama losses mini champ only my mama ndio ako genuine nikiwin anaclap nafunza hawa marapper vitu hawenge funzwa kwa class lines ni rated P.G naifanya for my only fans underdawg nafika kila form kama Bosco kama Mbuvi hii mic indio itafanya nikuwe sonko…nadeliver kushinda Glovo local tumetoka tuko global” he rapped partly.

Stinger’s parting shot was also something else, he asked the judges if they’d ever seen a better rapper than him to their astonishment.

Best Of The Best

The 57 minute watch massacre is nothing but pure awesomeness from the best of the best of underground stars.

Other names who also took part and are equally good are Mode Yule G, Mitchy The Rapper, she is the only female in the house, Deco fondly remembered from the viral clip, Whips Za Zakayo.

Deco also commands a staggering online presence as noted by the judges.

There’s also Slinger Triple One who wowed the judges when he tore apart dancehall star, Krg The Don in his lyricism.

The list also has Acid Flames who fumbled midway but later found his footing.

Last but not least was Penda Penda Music who received the lowest number of votes, 47.

Another rapper who made it to the round of 8 was Totila who was missing in action.

The audience was also treated to a performance by fast-rising singer Brilly Boy.

However, King Kaka noted that he needed a good producer, the likes Vinc to catapult his career to greatness.

While summing up, the panel of judges affirmed that the selection process is ‘crazy’ since all the contestants are gifted.
