Kisumu residents want vaccination centers made accessible

A section of Kisumu residents are appealing to county government of Kisumu to make vaccination centers more accessible to the residents.

The residents are crying that the previously identified center are not accessible and majority of them have not been vaccinated.

This appeal comes at a time when the lake Region counties are battling surge in Covid-19.

“This virus is impacting on us negatively be it business or health, many are scare and more are dying. The situation is worsening. We are now requesting the county government to set up accessible Covid-19 Vaccination centers so that people are made aware where to get vaccinated as this may also help in containing the severity of the pandemic,” said one resident.

The residents further urged the county to put up strict rules for matatus plying within town who are still carrying excess passengers.

“We are tired of these matatus plying within town, these people still carry excess and here is where majority may contract the virus. Let the relevant authority take necessary action,” another resident added.
