Kitengela woman who was captured in a video butchering her daughter has been arraigned in court.
Olivia Naserian aged 22 did not however take plea as police asked for more time to conduct investigations on the incident that has shocked many.
Naserian was arraigned in fron of Chief Magistrate Jane Kamu who ordered that she be detained for 10 more days.

During the melee police and neighbours were forced to break the door to her house in a bid to rescue the minor.

Suspect found unconscious
Naserian was found at the scene unconscious and was escorted to the Kitengela Sub-county Hospital for treatment,” a police report reads in part.
“Neighbours were attracted by noise from her house and they rushed into her room where they found she had locked herself inside alongside the minor. She began by breaking her TV set before she picked her baby whom she stabbed more than 100 times as neighbours watched in disbelief. She later dismembered her body and began eating the deceased body parts.”
The woman was rushed to Kitengela Sub-county Hospital for treatment pending further action.
“Upon arrival at the hospital she was treated and forced to vomit the alleged body parts which are now part of the evidence in the case,” police added.
The deceased’s body was taken to Kitengela Sub-county Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.
