The Kenyatta National Hospital has refuted claims by controversial blogger Robert Alai, claiming that fourteen infants in incubators died yesterday, due to power outage in the institution.

Blogger Robert ALAI yesterday tweeted that 14 infants in incubators died at KNH yesterday because power went off and the hospital.

According to Alai KNH does not have a back up generator hence the deaths.

KNH has however refuted the allegations saying no baby has died as a result of the alleged power blackout.

Adding that KNH has four generators to serve critical areas among them Newborn Unit as well as Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The hospital further urged the public to treat the information as an unfounded lie.
