Kenyatta National Hospital nurses who were arrested on Wednesday during the nurses protests were on Thursday freed on cash bail.
Three of the nurses were freed on a cash bail of 10,000 shillings while six others were freed on a cash bail of 20,000 shillings.
Some of the charges leveled on the nurses include disturbing peace and resisting arrest.
The nurses have been on strike from Monday in a bid to push the hospital management to allow them be represented by a union of their choice after one of their colleagues was beaten and injured by a patient’s relative
The case will be listened to on the 4th of December.
