Kenya National Union of Teachers is now accusing the Teachers Service Commission of doing mass transfer of teachers without following employment regulations.
In an interview with Ghetto Radio News KNUT Deputy Secretary General Hezborn Otieno says the on –going mass transfer is being done without factoring allowances of teachers affected as stated in the article 97 of TCS regulactions acts of 2015.
According to him the window is still open for the negotiations to avert the sepetember first strike threat issued over the weekend by KNUT .
Otieno also blamed the current schools unrest on the transfers that have affected their studies and exam preparations.
He was speaking today at KNUT headquarters in Nairobi.
