Congolese Singer Koffi Olomide has been jailed for a year for assaulting one of his female dancers in Nairobi.
Olomide was arrested on Tuesday at his home in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He is reported to have been taken to court shortly after and charged with the crime where he denied assaulting one of his dancers
The Congo Court found him guilty and sentenced him to a year in jail.
