The body of former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan has arrived in Ghana ahead of the State funeral.
The body will be taken to the Accra International Conference Center where the public will pay their respects before the State funeral on Thursday.
Annan who was a Nobel Laureate and the first African to serve as U.N. secretary-general died on August 18 in Bern, Switzerland.
Annan brokered the peace deal between Mwai Kibaki and Raila Odinga following the 2007 post election violence.
Kofi Annan kept a low profile over the last few years and little was known about his health.
