Korir Concedes Defeat To Jalang’o

Lang’ata MP Nixon Korir has conceded defeat in the Langa’ta Parliamentary seat race.

Korir in a statement said that his personal tallying of results have indicated that his competitor Felix Odiwuor popularly known as Jalang’o has a lead.

“To the people of Langata, I sincerely thank you for according me an opportunity to be your Member of Parliament for the last 5 years. It’s been a great opportunity that gave me an avenue to contribute to our nation building and service to the people,” said Korir.

Korir has in turn congratulated him and wished him all the best as he prepares to lead Lang’ata Constituency.

“From the results that we’ve tallied at the Generali centre, my competitor Jalango has a lead and I want to congratulate his as he prepares to take the mantle and move Langata forward. Siasa si chuki. God bless Langata.”

National Assembly Majority leader Amos Kimunya who is also the current MP for Kipipiri has also conceded defeat.

Kimunya was trying to defend his seat on a Jubilee ticket.
