Kothbiro-Terror Squad Fc now sail to semi finals


Mwiki based Terror Squad  have booked a semi final slot after edging out match favourites Githurai sportiff 6-5 on penalty shoot-outs following a 1-1 draw in the normal regulation time at Ziwani Umeme grounds.

The Mwiki side buoyed by their chanting fans scored the equaliser during injury time to make the score 1-1 amid thunderous cheers from their fans.

Edmond Murai scored for Githurai in the 56th min before Kevin Otieno notched in the magical equalising goal deep inside injury time.

Githurai led by Georgia based Amos Nondi were a better side.They created many chances with Terror Squad Keeper John Lemasi making several crucial saves that kept his side in the game.

During the penalty shoot-outs, Githurai scored through former Nakumatt fc striker Peter Nzuki, Amos Nondi, Ken Odhiambo,Kevin Njuguna while Hedmond Murai and Kevin Ouma squandered their chances.

Terror Squad scorers were George Odhiambo,Kevin Otieno,Ian Mwaura,James Karanja,Kiza Kado, and  Dennis Wanyoike while Brian Ndegwa blasted wide.

The four semi finalist teams that will battle it out on Friday are Huruma Asec, Dallas of Muthurwa, Terror Squad and Ruaraka All stars.
