The reports of KRA taxing dowry have been doing rounds on Social media after an online publication published it on their site.
According to the report, the authority is having talks on whether and how they should tax dowry.
“Hii story hata sisi tumeskia tu,” KRA responded with a Fake News Tag on a screenshot of the story.
The authority however went further and pointed out how the authority is losing money to the tune Ksh. 15 Billion from Kenyans who evade paying taxes.
