KTN news anchor Maalika Kazia has left the media house barely two years after joining the team at Standard group.
Taking to social media, Kazia who joined KTN in 2018 said the decision to part ways with the media house was not an easy one.
In her post, she thanked the media house for the opportunity to work with them saying that she learnt a lot during her short stint at KTN.
“Goodness it has been quite a journey! This was not an easy decision for me to make & I will always be grateful to KTN News and Standard Group for the opportunity. Thank you ? I have learnt a lot, met amazing people and grown in ways I never expected. To a different chapter now ?” reads Kazia’s post.
She further thanked her fans for watching and supporting her show at the station.
“And of course a massive thank you to each and every one of you, who watched, supported my work and uplifted me through your feedback. Asante sana ?” wrote Maalika Kazia.
Kazia did not reveal what next but assured her fans that they can still be in touch with her through her Youtube channel.
She was among four fresh faces that joined KTN back in 2018 when KTN unveiled new talent as a way to steer clear from recycling old faces.
The four new faces were Maalika, Frida Mwaka, Jesse Rogers and Brenda Czeda Radido.
