The Lakers face yet another disappointing loss in their home ground after losing 113-112 to Philadelphia 76ers.

In a losing effort to maintain the 2 point lead, Lebron James averaged 35 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds. The Lakers forward, Russell Westbrook managed to register his signature triple double averaging 20 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists.

“We are better than we were when the season began. The best thing about the league is you get a chance to redeem yourself. We have an opportunity to be better in the next game,” said Lebron James in a post game interview.

The 76ers took the day with the help of their center player, Joel Embiid who scored 35 points, 4 assists and 11 rebounds. The 76ers guard, James Harden had 24 points, 7 rebounds and 13 assists.

Russell Westbrook had a chance to score the winning bucket in the final munite but his shot attempt was rejected by 76ers forward Georges Niang.

Westbrook claimed that Philly center Joel Embiid held his arm prior to his shot attempt and that the play should have been regarded as a foul.

This claim comes after the NBA admitted it missed a foul during the Lakers vs Mavericks game that would’ve put LeBron James on the free throw line with a chance to win the game.

Lakers fans await to see what Lakers have in store for the next game with the Houston Rockets.
