Clubs and bars in Lang’ata sub-county have been warned against violating the Covid 19 regulations.
Nairobi Liquor Control and Licensing Board chairman Lang’ata sub county Nathan Nzomo says that they have laid traps to catch up bars violating the Covid-19 rules.
“The surge in Lang’ata is real and we are not taking anything into chances we have mobilizes our committee and we have been working closely to monitor what happens, but we shall not hesitate to close any bar in Lang’ata violating these rules,” he said.
Meanwhile the residents have also called on their leaders to issue them with masks and sanitizers saying not all of them can afford them.
Those at high risk includes street families and garbage collectors.
“Our leaders should supply us with masks some of us can’t afford them daily. Those of us working at garbage sites should be taken care of promptly,” they said.
