Word on the street is that renown media personality Larry Madowo will be leaving Nation Media Group for British Broadcasting Corporation.

Though Madowo has not confirmed the story, many speculate that his recent friction with his current employer has everything to do with it.

The journalist took to social media to share his plight and show his displeasure with his employer’s move saying it was the first time in nearly four years for such to happen.

The controversial article titled Why it’s a perilous time to be a journalist in Kenya was picked and reported by CNN.
“This week, the @dailynation refused to print my column for the first time in nearly 4 years. The irony aside, the same piece is now published on CNN ” he tweeted then

In the said article, the former host of The Trend speaks about a night where together with fellow anchor Ken Mijungu and NTV Managing Editor Linus Kaikai had to spend in the office over fear that plain clothed police officers were outside the Nation Centre waiting to arrest them.

Many of his fans are eagerly waiting for him to confirm his exit from NTV where he has worked for close to five years.
