Lawrence Warunge the 22 year old boy who confessed to killing five people including his four family members in Kiambaa, Kiambu County has been arraigned in court alongside his girlfriend.
Warunge however did not take any plea as police asked for more time to complete the investigations.
The Kiambu Court ordered that the two be detained for 14 days to allow the police to conduct postmortem and DNA tests.
Warunge will also undergo a mental assessment test during that time.
During the whole court process Warunge who was clad in a black t-shirt and a grey jumper expressed no emotions at all.
He sat pensively and waited orders from the court.
His girlfriend also sat next to him.
The IT student told detectives how he killed all the five people; his mother, father, brother, cousin and worker who lived in the Servant Quarters.
He then led detectives to a pt latrine in Maimahiu where he hid the murder objects.
