Jubilee Party Chairman David Murathe is among the leaders that have arrived at the jubilee National Delegates Conference meeting at Ngong Racecourse.

Also at the NDC is Jamleck Kamau who vied for Murang’a Governorship on a Jubilee ticket but lost.

Jubilee had been forced to change the date and venue of the NDC at the last minute after they had been informed that the Bomas of Kenya venue was unavailable.

Nairobi Police boss Adamson Bungei has in the meantime assured Jubilee of maximum security during the NDC meeting.

More than 50 police officers have reportedly been sent to the venue of the event.

Jubilee supporters had earlier on threatened to accord the meeting security themselves.

A jubilee faction led by EALA MP Kanini Kega and nominated MP Sabina Chege declared the Monday’s meeting as illegal.
