Star player Lebron James season struggles continue as he loses yet again to the Sacramento Kings. With a 116 – 111 victory, the Kings extended their winning streak to a consecutive five games.
Lakers forward, Lebron averaged 32 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds having played a total of 36 minutes the entire game. Russell Westbrook, the Lakers point guard managed to score 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists despite his signature triple-double.
“My job is to go out and perform at a high level and try to put ourselves in a position to win the ball game and I feel like we did that tonight. We just came up a little bit short,” said Lebron in a post game interview.
On the side of the Kings, all five starting players scored in double figures for including Richaun Harris who had a season-high 16 points and 11 rebounds.
In a winning effort to grab the win, Sacramento’s guard; De’Aaron Fox averaged 31 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds. Followed by Harrison Barnes who made 20 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. The center player, Richaun Holmes aided in the win after he averaged 11 rebounds in the paint area as well as 16 points and 1 assist.
This loss drops the Lakers to number 13 in western conference and the Sacramento Kings rise to number 6 in the same conference.
