Lecturers Resume Mega Demos In The City

Lectures resumed their mega demonstrations   in the streets of Nairobi this morning demanding pay increase and implementation of 2013-2017.

The dons marched carrying  placards  from graduation square  University of Nairobi Deputy presidents’  Harambee House office where they presented their petition.

UASU secretary general Dr Constatine Wasonga says the Dons will remain on strike  till the 2013-2017 CBA is negotiated signed and implemented.

They have have shown their frustrations over the 47 days strike accusing the government for not  being realistic in their counter offer.

Unions rejected a Sh10 billion offer by the government terming the offer inadequate and one that they were unwilling to accept.
