Kenyan Holywood actress Lupita Nyong’o is set to receive coveted hollywood walk of fame honor.
According to reports by Pagesix.com on Tuesday, June 26, the beauty was named as one of the Hollywood Walk of Fame honorees set to receive her own star.
This would mean the Kenyan-born actress would have her name embedded on a star placed along sidewalks of the Hollywood Boulevard in 2019.
Notable acts such as Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Jennifer Lopez, actor Kevin Hart and Frank Sinatra are among the limited list of celebrities who have had their names plastered on the terrazzo sidewalks.
Other notable names that will be honored alongside Lupita are, Alan Arkin, Kristen Bell, Daniel Craig, Robert De Niro, Guillermo del Toro, Anne Hathaway, Tyler Perry and Gena Rowlands who were selected in the films category.
“The Committee always tries to select a group of talented honorees that appeal in various genres of the entertainment world,” Di Bona said. “I feel the Committee has outdone themselves and I know the fans, tourists and the Hollywood community will be pleased with our selections. The ceremony dates are yet to be scheduled but are expected to go up in the course of next year.
