Machakos Senator Boniface Kabaka dies while receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital.
Kabaka was admitted in the ICU last week after a 21-hour date with a teacher.
The High School teacher had been detained but was however released after doctors ruled out poisoning in the senator’s death.

The senator had reportedly walked in an apartment in Kilimani without a driver or a bodyguard.
He was then joined by the lady with whom they later ordered for drinks and dinner, only to be picked in the morning in a critical condition.
Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana had publicly defended the teacher saying she was a lady of good standing in the society.
