Education CS Prof George Magoha has hit out at Northern Kenya region leaders for politicizing simple examination issues.
The CS has urged the leaders to allow children to sit their examination without interference saying that God was kind enough to dish out intelligence to sit an exam to every child irrespective of their background. The region that consists of Wajir, Garissa and Mandera has for along time been on the spot over exam irregularities with political leaders from the area always quick to jump on the region’s defence upon results’ cancellation.
”Kindly allow children our children to do their exams without interference and i can guarantee that you’ll see good results because our God is alive and very kind, he dished out intelligence irrespective of the background.” Said the former KNEC boss who was speaking at the Kenya School of Government
Magoha also put parents on the spot for piling pressure on their children to perform beyond their ability while at the same time assuring class 8 candidates of form one placement and that the selection process will be fare to all candidates who will sit their exams.
