Former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga now claims his abductors gave him ksh 2000 as fare to find his way home.
Maina who spoke to journalists at Makadara Law court shortly after he appeared before presiding magistrate for pretrial on charges of with being in possession of rungus and other crude weapons.
In that case , he was released on a cash bail of Sh100,000.
He now claims that he knows the police are the ones who abducted him while in face masks.

Njenga has condemned his alleged abduction saying the government was elected to protect its citizens, not to attack and torture them.
He also told the media that his alleged abduction was because of his involvement in Mount Kenya politics.
Earlier, Njenga said he was released on Sunday evening after being driven to Banana estate where he was given ksh 2000
