Makueni governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr, now demands members of ODM party together with Raila Odinga to respect his Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, following his attack by ODM goons on Wednesday during his presser with journalists.

Speaking to residents of Mbooni constituency in Makueni county, Mutula strongly criticized the act and called on ODM to work with president William Ruto without involving other parties. The governor told them not to force the former vice president to collaborate with the Kenya Kwanza  government.

“It is extremely unfortunate, ODM must treat Kalonzo Musyoka with respect na si tafadhali, ata ndoa watu kwani ni lazima?… we will not accept disrepect from ODM. Sisi tumewapatia nafasi tatu, sasa mnatuonesha madharau,” Mutula said

It’s an Order and Not a Request.

The governor now wants the members of ODM party together with Raila Odinga to treat Kalonzo Musyoka with respect and roared with anger telling them its an order and not a request.

Mutula added they will support Kalonzo Musyoka as a presidential candidate and claimed they have supported Raila as an ODM presidential candidate for three consecutive times, that is, during the National Super Alliance (NASA ) in 2013 ,Coalition for Reforms and Democracy(CORD) in 2017 and lastly, the Azimio Coalition in the last general elections 2022.

Wiper party leader was on Wednesday attacked by over 40 goons during his presser with the members of the press at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation at Upper Hill,Nairobi.

Wiper party together with Democratic Action Party (DAP) Kenya and National Rainbow Coalition (NARC) Kenya have distanced themselves from collaborating with the Kenya Kwanza government from any form of an agreement or dialogue.
